The Bradshaw Chorus will host a special recruitment night at Bradshaw Community Primary School in Grappenhall. The event is scheduled for Thursday, February 12, from 7.45pm to 10pm.
This open evening will provide a relaxed and friendly introduction to choral singing. Julie Phillips, the public relations officer for the chorus, stated, “Many people think singing in a chorus is only for experienced performers, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. If you enjoy music and want to try something new in 2026, this is a great place to start.”
Attendees will have the chance to meet current members, learn about harmony singing, and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of the group. The chorus is particularly interested in hearing from bass singers but emphasizes that everyone is welcome, regardless of age, experience, or musical background.
No auditions or previous experience are required—just an interest in music and a willingness to participate. Those interested are encouraged to register in advance.
Organizers believe this evening will be an excellent opportunity for anyone considering a new hobby in the new year. The membership secretary will follow up with further details once registration is complete.
