Claire House Children’s Hospice Seeks Donations for Charity Shops
Claire House Children’s Hospice is asking for donations of good quality, pre-loved items to stock its charity shops. Items can be dropped off at its Stockton Heath shop.
The charity supports babies, children, and young adults across Merseyside, Cheshire, and North Wales.
Donation Appeal from Claire House
Tracey Allwright, head of retail at Claire House, stated, “Our shops are a lifeline for Claire House. Every January, we open donation bags with a sense of excitement – you never know if it’ll be a designer scarf or a novelty gift that didn’t survive Christmas Day.”
She added, “The best part is when those good quality items go on to find a new home. Right now, we really need good quality, saleable items that our customers will love.”
Ms. Allwright emphasized, “A stylish top, a nearly new Christmas gift, or a complete toy can make a huge difference, not just on our shelves, but to the families who rely on our care.”
