Four Arrested in Cannabis Factory Discovery

Four individuals have been arrested after police found a cannabis factory in County Londonderry.

PSNI officers made the discovery during a planned search of a property in the Waterside area of Derry on Thursday.

The arrested individuals include three men aged 37, 39, and 60, and a woman aged 52. They are in custody on suspicion of drug-related offences.

PSNI Inspector Simon Gurney stated, “Cannabis factories such as this one often have links to serious criminality.”

He added, “By dismantling this extensive factory, we have helped to stop unlawful activity in its tracks.”

Gurney emphasized the importance of public support, saying, “We will continue to work tirelessly to search for and seize drugs, investigate and arrest those involved in drug supply and remove drugs from our streets.”

He concluded, “Together we can help protect those you care about.”
