Teddies Donated to Children at Caithness General Hospital

Children receiving treatment at Caithness General Hospital in Wick will receive teddy bears thanks to a donation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Caithness.

The bears are part of the Teddies for Loving Care (TLC) project, which is supported by Highland Freemasons, including the Provincial Grand Lodges of Inverness-shire, Ross and Cromarty, Sutherland, and Caithness.

The teddy bears will be given to children who may feel anxious, in pain, or traumatized about being in the hospital. This aims to help make their experience easier.

This donation will continue. When the hospital runs out of teddy bears, the Freemasons will provide more.

The bears were presented by James Moodie, the Provincial Grand Master of Caithness, along with Brother Alan Pinzariu. They were received by staff members Lynsay Moffat, Sharon Macintosh, Sharon Campbell, and Fiona Macleod.
