Northern Rail offers discounted tickets in Warrington and across the North of England during the Great British Rail Sale
Northern Encourages Passengers to Use Great British Rail Sale
Northern, which operates services from Warrington Central and Warrington Bank Quay, is urging passengers to plan ahead. The Great British Rail Sale this January offers millions of reduced fares across the network.
The sale runs from January 6 to January 12. Discounted advance tickets are valid for travel between January 13 and March 25.
More than three million tickets will be available, many for routes starting or ending on Northern’s network.

Alex Hornby, Commercial and Customer Director for Northern, said, “Rail is already one of the best and most affordable ways to get around the North and beyond. The return of the Great British Rail Sale gives our customers a brilliant opportunity to save money while enjoying more days out and trips further afield.”
He added, “With millions of discounted tickets available and fares as low as £1 between some of the key northern towns and cities, it’s the perfect time to plan ahead and make the most of what our region has to offer.”
Details of the Sale
The nationwide rail promotion offers savings of 50 percent or more on various routes. Tickets can be purchased through all standard booking channels, including online, mobile apps, at stations, and through ticket offices.
