This event is organized by Pembroke & District Angling Club and Osprey SAC. Fishing will take place from 10am until 2pm and raises funds for the RNLI, the charity that saves lives at sea.
The first prize of £200 is for the heaviest bag of flatfish. The second prize pays £100 for the heaviest fish of any kind. The third prize of £50 goes to the second heaviest bag of flatfish.
There will also be a free Junior (Under 16) competition. Prizes for juniors are £30, £20, and £10 respectively.
Entry is £10, with an option for a team of two for £2 each. Both anglers must weigh in.
Book-in between 8am and 9.30am at The Temple Bar Inn, with kind permission from Mr. Ian Wilkinson.
There will be many great raffle prizes to win.
Rules and Regulations
Rules include: No rod stand on the beach, except for stewards, until the angler has booked in. All fishing must be between the markers. Only one sizeable fish, other than flatfish, can be presented at the scales. All fish must be brought to the scales in suitable containers to keep unwanted fish alive. Scales close promptly at 2.30pm. Please bin or take home any litter appropriately, including any you might find.
Note: The committee reserves the right to refuse entry. In case of any dispute, its decision will be final.
